During their Snape Maltings residency and Festival of New performance, PRANASA had the privilege of collaborating with two unique artists; a poet and a sound artist.
Jo Clement, an award-winning poet from Newcastle and editor of 'The Butcher's Dog Poetry Magazine', and Duncan Chapman a Lincolnshire-based composer / musician, whose practice ranges across performance, installation and recording, as well as regular collaborations with Supriya Nagarajan.
The result was PRANASA's first piece titled 'River' which merged known sounds and works with an improvisatory exploration of their newly -found sound inspired by the group's own heritage and the surrounding landscape at Snape. As the piece unfolds we meet and listen to colours and sounds that merge together their life experiences.
